This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Talex Business Services is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our operations and supply chains.

2. Our Business

We provide payroll services to organisations primarily in the healthcare and social work sectors. As a service-based company with limited supply chains, the risk of modern slavery within our business is low, but we remain vigilant.

3. Our Policies

We have policies in place to:

  • Ensure all staff are legally employed and paid at or above the minimum wage
  • Conduct background checks on employees and contractors
  • Maintain transparent employment practices

4. Due Diligence

We:

  • Vet suppliers for ethical labour practices
  • Require suppliers and partners to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
  • Encourage whistleblowing and have a zero-tolerance approach to exploitation

5. Training and Awareness

Our team is trained to understand indicators of modern slavery. We raise awareness internally and expect high ethical standards from all those with whom we do business.

We review our policies annually and update them to reflect best practices and changes in legislation.
